18.01.2010: The success continued for Team Schöpp at the final round of the German Championship as they went through the 3-team double round-robin undefeated to claim the title and advance to the upcoming Ford World Women’s Championship to be held in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada from 20-28 March. The reigning champions posted victories over Pia-Lisa Schöll (ECO/BHGCC) with 10:1 and 8:2 and two victories over former champion Petra Tschetsch (CCF/ECO) 8:3 and 4:3. The team is currently training hard for the first of two trips to Canada for the XXI Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver from 12-28 February. The team will open the competition on 16. February against Russia’s Liudmila Privivkova.
